Vampire Names

Vampire names with old-world menace — aristocratic first names and centuries-deep surnames, in gothic rather than camp register.

Optional: type a word that matters to you — half the batch will be built around it.

How to use this page

Generate two or three batches before judging — the first is rarely the best. Read the survivors aloud once; anything a tablemate cannot repeat back is out. For a bloodline or a warband, lock the custom word field to the same root syllable and generate per character: shared sounds read as shared blood, and the batch becomes a family tree.

Aristocracy ages well

Vampires wear old money: “Lucian”, “Seraphine”, “Valeriu”. Latinate roots, softened endings, names that would pass in a 19th-century salon. The pool leans gothic-literate — menacing without fangs-on-the-nose camp.

Surnames imply centuries

A vampire surname should sound like an estate: “Ravenholm”, “Carmilla Vey”, “Noctis”. Type the bloodline’s origin era or region into the custom field — “victorian”, “eastern”, “roman” — and the batch period-matches.

Frequently asked questions

How do I avoid Dracula clones?

Lean on the era and region dials — a 1920s Prague bloodline sounds nothing like a Carpathian one.
