Discord Usernames
Discord usernames for the new unique-handle system — lowercase-clean, server-friendly, and free of the discriminator-era clutter.
Optional: type a word that matters to you — half the batch will be built around it.
How to use this page
Generate, then paste your top pick into the platform’s own field before committing — character limits and availability decide the last round. The custom word field builds the batch around a word you want to be known by: type it in, and the handle that comes back is one you can say on a podcast without spelling it.
Unique handles changed the game
Discord’s move to unique usernames (@-handles) made short, clean, lowercase names prime real estate — “ember”, “driftwood”, “voidcat”. The generator favors that register: no caps gymnastics, no xX wrappers, nothing that reads 2012.
Server-first vs identity-first
Type your main community’s topic (“gaming”, “art”, “dev”) into the custom field — a topic-flavored handle finds friends in servers, while an identity handle carries across servers. Both are valid; consistency across platforms tips the scale.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get my name without digits?
Often yes at off-peak hours — handle releases happen, and variant spellings keep the identity. Avoid digit suffixes; they read as defeat.
